Community Planning:
Downtown Minot is the community’s central business district and the site of the first permanent settlement in Minot in 1886. Downtown is home to many of Minot’s cultural sites of interest, numerous galleries, stores, and restaurants. In partnership with Minot’s economic development community, Downtown Business & Professional Association, Downtown merchants, and at-large community representatives, Strengthen ND and Souris Basin Planning Council led an effort to create a community vision, strategy, and action plan for Downtown.
